Nyan Cat x-stitch

I wasn't very good at keeping this a surprise. But my friend had it figured out the moment I told her that she might like her birthday present!

My favorite thing about Nyan Cat is that it was already pixelated. All I had to do was figure out how many squares should be in the rainbow and cat itself. Eyeballing would've been tough so I tried to draw it out on graphing paper. It didn't really translate well onto 14-count aida so I had to improvise later on. I really should've googled for 14-count graph paper first, though. Oh well. For next time!

 I tried to find the best matches. Those colors were for the rainbow and poptart icing.

 

I drew a rabbit skull for kicks, based on the one a nice lady sent me in the mail!

Nyan Cat as of today. I thought I'd add some cupcakes and other treats from the video game. Unsure of whether or not I want to keep it/add more.
